The Data processing addendum

The Data processing addendum (DPA) sets out how ASDK processes your visitors' personal data on your behalf, as GDPR Article 28 requires. It applies with our Terms; if your company needs a record of its acceptance, accept it in the dashboard:

Open Settings → Privacy

Every member sees whether the DPA was accepted, by whom and which version. Owners and admins can accept it.

Fill in your company's details

Enter the company's legal name and address, the email address for privacy notices and your own name. The printable copy shows them as the customer's details.

Accept it

Confirm that you have read the DPA and accept it on behalf of the company. ASDK records the version, the time, your name and email address, your IP address and your browser (its user agent).

View and print opens the DPA with your company's details and the record of the acceptance filled in. Use your browser's print dialog to print it or save it as a PDF. When we publish a new version of the DPA, the page says so and asks for a new acceptance.

What visitors are told

The What visitors are told section of the same page shows, for each site:

  • The AI disclosure. Every widget tells visitors that they are talking to an AI, as Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires. You can reword the line on the Agents page, but not remove it: a line without words is refused, and the widget falls back to the default text.
  • Your privacy policy link. It appears with the consent checkbox of the contact form, so visitors who leave their details can read how you use them. Add it on the Agents page if it is missing.
