Answers at night, on weekends and in every time zone
Your site gets questions when nobody is at a desk. ASDK answers them from your content, in the visitor’s language, and has the leads waiting in your inbox in the morning.
Sound familiar?
“Our best inquiries arrive while we sleep.”
Dealers and buyers in other time zones visit during their working day, which is the middle of your night.
“Monday starts with a weekend of messages.”
By the time someone replies, the visitor has asked a competitor the same question.
“We can’t staff a chat around the clock.”
A live chat that says “we’re offline” half the day teaches visitors not to ask.
One night on a dealer site
Adventure Works is a fictional bicycle maker in Portland, Oregon, that sells to dealers around the world.
Questions get answers at 2 a.m.
The agent answers from your pages at any hour, in the language the visitor writes in, and cites the pages it used, even when your site is in English only.
Visitors who need a person leave their details
When the agent can’t answer, or the visitor asks for a person, the contact form opens: an email address, plus name, company and phone if you ask for them. The visitor reads that you’ll reply by email.
The morning starts with a list, not a backlog
Lead emails go out right away, so they’re waiting when you open your inbox, and Slack gets them too. In the dashboard, filter last night’s conversations by With lead or Not answered.
With Sales on Pro, visitors who fit can also book a call in your calendar at any hour.
What to set up
A few settings decide what night-time visitors see and what your team finds in the morning.
Say when you reply
Write a greeting that sets expectations, for example that your team replies on business days. It can be up to 500 characters.
Choose when the form appears
When the agent can’t answer is the default. Always suits sites where every conversation should end with a contact.
Send leads where you’ll see them
Lead emails go to owners and admins. Add a Slack channel per site, and set your workspace’s time zone for the Monday report.
Write down what people ask at night
Delivery times, dealer terms, warranty: add Q&A pairs for the answers that must be exact.
Where it stops
Nobody joins the chat at night
The widget doesn’t page your team or hand the conversation to a person. Visitors get a reply when your team is back.
It only knows what you’ve published
If your delivery times or dealer terms aren’t on your site or in a Q&A pair, the agent says it doesn’t know.
Your own texts show as written
The default greeting comes in the widget’s eight languages; a greeting you write shows to everyone as you wrote it. Separate texts per language can’t be set yet.
Less common languages vary
Answer quality depends on the language model’s skill in that language. If many visitors write in one, test a few of their questions first.

Can the widget work differently outside business hours?
Not yet. The agent answers the same way at any hour. Use the greeting to tell visitors when your team replies.
How fast do we hear about a night-time lead?
Right away. Each new lead is emailed to owners and admins as it arrives, with leads from the same minute combined into one email, and posted to Slack if you connected a channel.
Which languages does it answer in?
Agents reply in the language the visitor writes in. The widget’s buttons and labels come in English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Ukrainian and Russian; other visitors see them in English.
What do we see on Monday morning?
A weekly report email at 08:00 in your workspace’s time zone: last week’s conversations, answers, leads and ratings, and the three questions your agent couldn’t answer most often.
Let your site answer while you’re away
Add your site, write a greeting that says when you reply and switch on Chat. The 14-day trial needs no card.
