Install

Install ASDK on WordPress

Add the ASDK widget to a WordPress site with a header and footer plugin, or upload the ASDK plugin while it waits for the WordPress.org plugin directory.

On this page

There are two ways to put ASDK on a WordPress site. Both load the same widget.

WPCode, formerly "Insert Headers and Footers", is a free plugin that adds code to every page and keeps it when you change themes (checked October 2026). Other code snippet plugins work the same way.

Install WPCode

In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin, search for "WPCode", then click Install Now and Activate.

Open Code Snippets → Header & Footer. Paste your snippet from the dashboard's Install page into the Footer box:

HTML
<script async src="https://cdn.asdk.com/v1/asdk.js" data-site-id="SITE_ID"></script>

Click Save Changes.

Check

Open your site in a private window (some caching plugins serve logged-in admins a different page), look for the chat button, then click Check installation on the dashboard.

If your site uses a caching or optimization plugin, clear its cache after saving. See cached pages.

With the ASDK plugin

The plugin "ASDK — AI Agents for Your Website" adds the widget without touching code and has settings for position, language and pages to leave out. It works on WordPress 6.4 and later.

Upload the plugin

Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, choose the file asdk-ai-agents.zip, click Install Now, then Activate Plugin.

Paste your site ID

Open Settings → ASDK and paste your site ID (it starts with site_). You can also paste the whole snippet; the plugin takes the ID from it. Click Save Changes.

Check

The settings page shows "Connected" when the site ID has the right format. Open your site, then click Check installation on the dashboard.

On WordPress.com, adding plugins and header or footer code depends on your WordPress.com plan; see WordPress.com's guide to adding code to your site (checked October 2026).
