Agents

Forms agent

How the Forms agent will work: conversational quotes and quizzes instead of contact forms, with a price range or a recommendation and a lead.

On this page

The Forms agent turns a contact form into a short conversation: one question per screen, a price range (or a recommendation) at the end, and a lead with the answers and the estimate when the visitor asks for it.

What visitors will see

  • One question at a time. A single or multiple choice, a number (like the size of a space), yes or no, or a short text. A progress bar shows how far they are, and Back changes an answer.
  • A result right away. A quote ends with a price range, such as "$440 – $510"; a quiz ends with a recommendation, such as the package that fits. The notes you add, like "This is an estimate, not a binding offer", appear under it.
  • "Send me this quote". The visitor leaves their email (and the name, company or phone you ask for in lead capture), agrees to be contacted, and you get a lead with every answer and the estimate.

Forms work with the keyboard alone and with screen readers: every question is announced, Enter goes to the next question, and an answer that doesn't fit is explained next to the field.

Build a form

Describe your prices

On the dashboard, open Forms, choose a quote or a quiz and describe your prices in plain words, for example: "Cleaning is $0.12 per sq ft, deep cleaning $0.20, minimum $150. Weekends cost 20% more." The AI writes a draft with questions and formulas. It is only a draft: nothing reaches visitors until you publish.

You can also start from a template, or from an empty form.

Check the questions and the formulas

The builder shows every question, its options and the numbers formulas use. Each formula shows its value for the test answers next to it, so you see at once what a visitor with those answers would pay. Change the test answers to try other cases.

Before a form can be published, every formula is also run over about two hundred sample answers. You see it when a price could come out below zero, when a formula divides by zero for some answers, or when a recommendation never matches.

Publish

Publish makes the draft the version visitors get. Later changes stay in the draft until you publish again; visitors who already started keep the version they started with. Unpublish stops showing the form.

Formulas

A formula is a small calculation, like in a spreadsheet:

WriteMeans
area * 0.12the answer to the question named area, times 0.12
servicethe value of the chosen option of a single choice (for several choices, the chosen values added up)
service.deep1 when the option deep was chosen, otherwise 0
weekend1 for yes, 0 for no
max(150, area * 0.12)at least 150: a minimum price
if(weekend, 1.2, 1)1.2 on weekends, otherwise 1: a 20% surcharge as a multiplier
round(total, -1)rounded to tens; round(total, 2) rounds to cents

You can also use + - * /, comparisons such as rooms > 3, and, or, not, min, ceil and floor. Variables keep long calculations readable: a variable base can be used in the formulas below it. Text answers go into the lead but never into a price.

The visitor's browser computes the result for the result screen. Before a lead is stored, ASDK computes it again from the answers on its own servers, so the estimate in your lead is always the one your formulas give.

Put a form on your site

The widget's snippet must be on the page. Then:

  • On a page, such as your pricing or contact page: put <div data-asdk-form="form_…"></div> where the form should appear. The builder's Add to your site tab has the code with your form's id.
  • Behind a button: asdk("form", "form_…") opens the form as a dialog, for example from your own "Get a quote" button.
  • In the chat: on the Forms page, choose a published form for the chat's button. Visitors see "Get a quote" (or "Find what fits" for a quiz) in the chat panel before their first question; you can change the button's text.

Leads and results

A form's lead lands in Leads and in the new-lead email and Slack message, with the estimate and the answers. When the Sales agent is on, a qualified lead goes to your CRM or webhook with the estimate too: webhooks get it as lead.estimate, with the form, the price range or recommendation, a one-line summary and every answer.

The Results tab of a form lists what visitors sent, and its funnel for the last 30 days: how many visitors saw the form, started it, saw a result and sent it. The conversion rate is the share of visitors who saw the form and sent it.
