Install
Install ASDK on Framer
Add the ASDK widget to a Framer site as site-wide custom code at the end of the body tag, publish the site, then check that the widget appears.
Last updated
On this page
Framer adds site-wide scripts from the project's custom code settings. Framer's help center places them under Project settings → Custom code and recommends the end of the <body> tag for scripts (checked October 2026).
Add the snippet
Open the custom code settings
In your Framer project, open the site settings and go to Custom code. Older projects show it under Site settings → General.
Add the snippet at the end of the body
Add your snippet from the dashboard's Install page in the End of <body> tag field:
<script async src="https://cdn.asdk.com/v1/asdk.js" data-site-id="SITE_ID"></script>Use the site-wide setting, not a single page's settings, so every page gets the widget.
Publish
Publish the site. Framer doesn't run custom code on the canvas or in the preview.
Check
Open the published site, look for the chat button, then click Check installation on the dashboard.
If the custom code fields are locked, your site's plan doesn't include custom code; Framer's pricing page lists what each plan includes.
