Turn visitors’ questions into qualified leads

Buyers would rather ask a question than fill in a form. ASDK answers from your site, asks what your team would ask and sends the leads that fit, with their answers attached.

Example. Litware is a fictional company.

Sound familiar?

  • “The contact form is the only way to talk to us.”

A visitor with one question has to start a sales conversation to ask it. Most close the tab instead.

  • “The leads we get have no context.”

A name and an email. Someone writes back to ask what they wanted, and the reply comes days later, if it comes at all.

  • “Our mornings go to sorting demo requests.”

Students, job seekers and companies far too small for the product arrive through the same form as real buyers.

From a question to a qualified lead

One conversation on the site of Litware, a fictional maker of scheduling software for field service teams.

  1. It answers the question first

Chat answers from your pages, docs and Q&A pairs and lists the pages it used. The visitor gets what they came for before anyone asks for an email.

  2. Then it asks what your team would ask

Sales asks up to five qualifying questions, one per reply and in the visitor’s language. Questions with fixed answers show as buttons, and a question skipped twice isn’t asked again.

  3. Good fits reach your team with the context

Each lead gets a score from 0 to 100 for fit, intent and identity. When it reaches your threshold, 60 by default, the lead goes to email, Slack or your webhooks with the answers and a short summary.

Without Sales, Chat still captures contacts: the contact form opens when the agent can’t answer or the visitor asks for a person. That works on every plan.

What to set up

Most of the work is writing down what your team already asks on a first call.

  1. Add your site

ASDK reads your pages. Add Q&A pairs for the answers that must be exact, such as prices and integrations.

  2. Paste the script

One tag on every page, directly or through your tag manager. Every agent runs from it.

  3. Write your questions

On Pro, switch on Sales, write up to five questions with good-fit rules and set the score that counts as qualified.

  4. Choose where leads go

Email to owners and admins is on by default. Add a Slack channel, or webhooks for Zapier, Make or your own system.

Where it stops

  • CRM sync is coming soon

HubSpot and Pipedrive connections aren’t available yet. Until they are, send leads to your CRM through webhooks, Zapier or Make.

  • It knows what the visitor tells it

Identifying the company behind a visit is coming soon. Today the score comes from the conversation and the email address.

  • Sales comes with Pro and up

Qualification and scoring are part of Pro and higher plans, and of the 14-day trial. The contact form works on every plan.

  • It won’t invent a price

If your site doesn’t say what something costs, the agent says so and offers the next step instead of guessing.

Questions, answered

The short version of what people ask before they set this up.

Will it ask every visitor for their email?

No. Chat offers the contact form when it can’t answer, when a visitor asks for a person, or always, if you choose that. Sales asks its questions only after a visitor shows buying intent, such as asking about prices or a demo.

Do I need Sales, or is Chat enough?

Chat answers questions and captures contacts on every plan. Add Sales on Pro when you want qualifying questions, a score for each lead and a meeting offer for good fits.

How is a lead scored?

Out of 100: up to 50 for answers that match your good-fit rules, up to 30 for intent such as asking for a demo or prices, and up to 20 for identity, where a work email counts more than a free mailbox. Leads at or above your threshold count as qualified.

Can leads go to HubSpot or Pipedrive?

Direct sync with HubSpot and Pipedrive is coming soon. Today, webhooks send each qualified lead to Zapier, Make or your own system, and from there to your CRM. You can also export leads as a CSV file.

What if visitors write in another language?

Agents reply in the language the visitor writes in and ask your questions in that language too. The answers still come from your pages.
