Install ASDK on Squarespace

Add the ASDK widget to a Squarespace site through Code Injection in the footer. Code injection needs a Core, Plus or Advanced plan or some legacy plans.

Squarespace adds code to every page through Code Injection.

Add the snippet

Open Code Injection

In the Pages panel, scroll down to Website Tools and click Code Injection. In older dashboards it is under Settings → Advanced → Code Injection.

Paste the snippet into the footer

Paste your snippet from the dashboard's Install page into the Footer field. Squarespace adds it just before the closing </body> tag of every page.

Click Save.

Check while logged out

Squarespace turns scripts off while you are logged in and editing, so open your site in a private window to see the chat button. Then click Check installation on the dashboard.

Squarespace's checkout pages don't run injected code, so the widget does not appear there.
