Early accessAbout ten minutes to a live agent

From sign-in to your first lead

A tour of the real product, one step at a time: what you do, what ASDK does for you and what you see in the dashboard. Most sites have an agent answering in about ten minutes.

Example. Northwind Logistics is a fictional company.

Before you start

  • 1Your website’s addressASDK reads its public pages, so the site needs to be online.
  • 2A way to add one scriptYour site builder’s custom code setting, your theme or Google Tag Manager — or the email of whoever runs your site.
  • 3A work email you can open nowASDK signs you in with a link instead of a password.

About ten minutes

Set up

The first part happens in the dashboard’s setup, one screen at a time. You can skip it at any step and finish later.

  1. 1Sign in with your work email

Enter your work email at app.asdk.com and open the link ASDK sends you. There’s no password and no separate sign-up: the same link creates your account and your first workspace.

    • No password and no card
    • Each link works once, for 15 minutes
    • During early access, new workspaces start on the Free plan
  2. 2Add your website

The setup opens by itself the first time you sign in. Enter your website’s address and continue: ASDK creates the site and starts reading its pages right away.

    • Each site gets its own knowledge base, widget and settings
    • Add more sites later, as many as your plan includes
  3. 3Watch ASDK read your site

Pages appear as ASDK reads them. Add your sitemap so it reads exactly the pages you list, and upload files such as price lists, product sheets and FAQs. Once the first pages are in, continue: the rest is read in the background.

    • Files: PDF, Word, text, Markdown, CSV or HTML, up to 20 MB each
    • Your site is read again every day on paid plans, every week on Free
  4. 4Try the agent before visitors do

In “Try it”, the real widget answers from what ASDK has read so far. Ask what your visitors ask, or click a suggested question made from your page titles. Every answer lists the pages it came from.

    • Wrong or missing answer? Note it and add your own answer later
    • Visitors see the same suggested questions under the greeting
  5. 5Install one script, then check it

Pick your platform and copy the snippet; it already contains your Site ID. Paste it once on every page, publish, then click “Check installation”. Someone else runs your site? Email them the instructions from the same screen.

    • Guides for HTML, Google Tag Manager, WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, Framer and Next.js
    • The same script loads every agent you switch on later
    The whole installationindex.html — before </body>
    <script async
      src="https://cdn.asdk.com/v1/asdk.js"
      data-site-id="SITE_ID"></script>
    • One tag for every agent. Turning an agent on or off happens in the dashboard, not in your code.
    • Loads asynchronously, so it doesn’t block your page from rendering.
    • Using a tag manager? Set the same options in window.asdkConfig.
  6. 6Choose the agents that work on your site

Chat and Agent-Ready are on from the start: Chat answers visitors in the widget, and Agent-Ready helps AI assistants read your site. Switch on Sales on the Pro plan and up. Your script stays the same.

    • Search, Forms, and Voice are coming soon
    • Colors, position and greeting are set on the same page

On every visit

On your website

Once the script is on your pages, the agents work on their own: they answer from your content, show where each answer came from and hand you the leads.

  1. 7A visitor asks, in their own words

The widget waits on every page with your greeting and suggested questions. Visitors ask the way they would ask a person, in their own language and at any hour, and they always see that they’re talking to an AI.

Example. Northwind Logistics is a fictional company.
  2. 8It answers from your pages — and shows which

The agent answers only from your knowledge: your pages, your files and the answers you add. It lists the pages it used, so visitors can check and keep reading. When nothing covers a question, it says so instead of guessing and offers to pass it to your team.

    • Each answer can end with a next step, such as booking a call
    • Questions in other languages are answered in that language, from the same pages
  3. 9Questions turn into leads

When a visitor wants a quote or a call, the agent asks for their details in the conversation. The lead lands in your inbox with the question that started it, and your team gets an email or a Slack message right away.

    • Sales books meetings in Cal.com, Calendly or Google Calendar (Pro and up)
    • Export leads as CSV, or pass them on with webhooks, Zapier or Make

A few minutes a week

Better every week

Every question your agents couldn’t answer becomes a to-do. Answer it once, and every agent uses your answer from then on.

  1. 10See what visitors ask, and what’s still open

Insights turn conversations into a short to-do list: the questions your agents couldn’t answer, the most asked first. From the Pro plan, “What visitors ask” adds top questions, the pages answers cite most and answers visitors rated as not helpful.

  2. 11Answer once, and every agent knows

Choose “Add an answer” next to the question, write what visitors should hear and save. ASDK turns it into a Q&A pair, and agents use it within seconds. If the answer belongs on your website, add it to the page and choose “Read again”.

    • Not every question needs an answer: dismiss the ones outside your business

How long does setup take?

Most sites have an agent answering in about ten minutes. The longest part is usually publishing a change to your website, so if someone else runs it, send them the install instructions early. ASDK keeps reading larger sites in the background while you continue.

Do I need a developer?

No. Adding the script is a copy-and-paste into your site builder’s custom code setting, your theme or Google Tag Manager. If someone else manages your site, the Install step emails them the snippet and the steps for your platform.

What happens when my website changes?

ASDK reads your website and sitemap again every day on paid plans and every week on the Free plan. You can also read a source again at any time with “Read again” on the Knowledge page.

What does it cost to try?

Nothing. During early access, new workspaces start on the Free plan: Chat and Agent-Ready on one site and 50 answers a month, with no card. The 14-day trial of the paid agents opens when billing launches.

Does the agent answer in other languages?

Yes. Agents reply in the language the visitor writes in, using your content in its own language, and cite your pages as usual. The widget’s buttons and labels come in eight languages.

Can I set ASDK up for a client?

Yes. Agencies run their clients’ sites from one workspace on the Agency plan, or refer clients through the partner program and earn a share of what they pay.
