A widget that looks like part of your site

Pick the accent color, the corner and the theme. Write the greeting and the questions visitors can click. Changes reach your site on the next page view, with no change to the script.

Example. Northwind Logistics is a fictional company.

Your color, your corner, your theme

Enter your brand color as a hex value or pick it. The widget writes black or white text on it, whichever reads better, and the dashboard warns you when the launcher would be hard to see on a white page.

  • Bottom right or bottom leftMove it left when a cookie button already sits in the right corner. One page can differ with data-position on its script tag.
  • Light, dark or match the visitorMatch the visitor follows their system setting. A fixed theme suits a site with only one look.
  • The same everywhereThe widget uses the visitor's system font, loads no font files and keeps its styles out of your site's CSS.
Examples. Every company shown is fictional.

Your words, from the first line

Four texts set the tone before the agent answers anything. Each field shows its default; leave it empty to keep it.

  • TitleYour company or a role, such as “Northwind help”. Up to 60 characters.
  • GreetingWho answers, what it helps with, what to ask. Up to 500 characters, with bold, italics and links.
  • Message box placeholderA nudge toward good questions. Up to 80 characters.
  • AI disclosureAlways visible under the title, as the EU AI Act requires. You can reword it, not remove it.

How to write the greeting

Questions visitors can click

Up to four buttons under the greeting. One click sends the question, and the buttons step aside once the conversation starts. ASDK also suggests ideas from the pages it read, such as a pricing question when your site has a pricing page.

The launcher and the badge

The launcher is a round chat button, or a button with your own label such as “Ask us”, up to 40 characters. Two or three words work best on phones.

  • “Powered by ASDK”The badge under the message box shows on the Free and Starter plans. Pro and higher remove it.
  • Sized for every screenA 380 by 640 pixel panel on desktop, full screen on phones.
  • Keyboard and screen readersA real button, a focus trap in the panel, Escape to close, and no animation for visitors who ask for reduced motion.

Can I match the widget to my brand?

You set the accent color, the corner, the theme and every text. The font and the panel's size stay the same on every site: the widget uses the visitor's system font, so it loads no font files and looks native on each device.

Do I need to change the script when I change colors or texts?

No. The settings live in the dashboard. Save them, and visitors see the new look on their next page view.

Can I remove the “Powered by ASDK” badge?

Yes, from the Pro plan up. The Free and Starter plans show it.

What if my brand color is very light?

You can still use it, and the text on the launcher stays readable. The dashboard warns you when the launcher itself would be hard to see on a white page, below a 3:1 contrast; a darker shade of your brand color usually fixes that.

Can visitors tell they are talking to an AI?

Yes. Every widget shows an AI disclosure under its title, as Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires. You can reword it, but not remove it.

Does the widget work in other languages?

Its buttons and labels come in eight languages, and answers come in the language each visitor writes in. Texts you write yourself are shown as you wrote them.
