An AI chat agent that answers from your own website

Chat reads your website, help docs and the Q&A you add, then answers visitors in plain language and links the pages it used. When it isn’t sure, it says so and offers to pass the question to your team.

Questions don’t wait for office hours

B2B buyers do most of their research before they talk to anyone. When the answer is hard to find or the team is offline, they move on to a site that answers.

  1. The integration question at 11 pm

A prospect comparing three vendors wants to know whether you support single sign-on. The answer sits on page 14 of your docs. They don’t find it, and the next site on their list answers first.

  2. The same ten questions every week

Your inbox fills up with questions your website already answers: delivery times, file formats, minimum orders, which plan has which feature. Each reply takes someone away from work only they can do.

  3. Contact forms that go nowhere

A visitor with a real need fills in a generic contact form and waits. By the time someone writes back, the visitor has found an answer somewhere else.

From one script to answered questions

  1. Add one script

Paste one line of code into your site or add it through your tag manager. Nothing else on your site changes.

  2. ASDK learns your content

It reads the pages you allow, your help docs and the questions and answers you add, and builds one knowledge base for your site. You decide what goes in.

  3. Visitors ask, Chat answers

Answers come only from that knowledge base and link the pages they’re based on. Visitors are told up front that they’re talking to an AI.

  4. When it’s unsure, it hands over

If your content doesn’t cover a question, Chat says so instead of guessing and offers to send the question to your team with the visitor’s email.

  5. You see what people ask

The dashboard shows conversations and the questions Chat couldn’t answer. Fix a gap once, and every agent uses the fix.

Answers you can check, and leads you would have missed

  • Answers from your content only

Chat answers from your pages, docs and Q&A, not from the open internet. If the answer isn’t there, it doesn’t make one up.

Example. Northwind Logistics is a fictional company.
  • Contact capture when it’s unsure

Choose when Chat asks for contact details: only when it can’t answer, or as an offer in every conversation. Leads land in your dashboard with the conversation attached.

Example. Northwind Logistics is a fictional company.
  • “What visitors ask” insights

    Pro and above

A regular summary of the topics visitors ask about and the questions that went unanswered, so you know which page to write or fix next.

Example. Northwind Logistics is a fictional company.
  • Leads where you work

    Starter and above

Send new leads and conversations to your other tools with webhooks, Zapier or Make.

Example. Northwind Logistics is a fictional company.

More in Chat

  • Every answer cites its pages

Answers link the pages they used, so visitors can check the details and keep reading on your site.

  • Your colors, your words

Set the color, position, greeting and suggested questions to match your site. The note that visitors are talking to an AI always stays.

A question answered, and one handed over

Chat answers what the site covers, cites the pages, and stops guessing when the site has no answer.

What to notice

  • Every answer links the pages it came from.
  • When the site has no answer, Chat says so instead of guessing.
  • The question it hands over arrives with the whole conversation.

  1. Visitor: Do you support single sign-on with SAML?
  2. AI agent: Yes. SAML single sign-on is available on the Team and Enterprise plans. An admin connects your identity provider in the security settings; the setup guide lists the fields you need.

  3. Visitor: Can we keep all our data in the EU?
  4. AI agent: I couldn’t find that on this website, so I don’t want to guess. Shall I pass your question to the team? Leave your email and they’ll reply directly.

Questions about Chat

Where does Chat get its answers?

Only from the knowledge base ASDK builds for your site: the pages you allow, your help docs and the questions and answers you add. It does not answer from the open internet, and every answer links the pages it used.

What happens when Chat doesn’t know the answer?

It says it couldn’t find the answer instead of guessing, and offers to pass the question to your team with the visitor’s email. You see these questions in the dashboard and can add the missing answer once.

Do visitors know they are talking to an AI?

Yes. The chat window always tells visitors that they are talking to an AI agent. You can adjust the wording, but the disclosure itself stays.

How do I add Chat to my website?

Paste one script tag into your site’s HTML or add it through your tag manager. There is nothing to host. The same script runs every other ASDK agent you switch on later.

How is Chat different from a classic chatbot?

Classic chatbots follow decision trees that someone writes and maintains by hand. Chat reads your content and answers in its own words, with links to its sources. Instead of maintaining scripts, you keep your pages up to date.

Which plans include Chat?

Chat is part of the Free, Starter, Pro, Business, and Agency plans. The Free plan includes 50 answers a month on one site; paid plans raise the limits. The 14-day trial includes Chat, no card required.
