The full comparison
On this page
Voiceflow and ASDK both run AI agents that answer from a company's own knowledge. They are built for different buyers. Voiceflow is an enterprise platform on which customer experience teams design, test and run support agents across chat, phone and messaging. ASDK is a self-serve set of ready-made agents for B2B websites, with published prices.
Who each product is for
Voiceflow describes itself as "an enterprise platform for building and running AI agents for customer support", used by support operations, CX teams, conversation designers and engineers (Voiceflow AI info). Agents run on web chat (with a voice mode), phone and SMS, and the home page also lists app and WhatsApp channels (Voiceflow). They answer from your policies and documents and take actions through API calls, custom code, MCP tools and native integrations such as Zendesk, Salesforce, HubSpot and Shopify. Conversations can be handed to human teams in Zendesk, Genesys, UJET, Kustomer or Dixa. Voiceflow is not a helpdesk; it connects to the one you already have. You can choose models from several providers, including Anthropic and Google, or bring your own, and work in separate development, staging and production environments.
ASDK suits B2B companies whose website does the selling and supporting, without a team to design agents. You add one script and switch on agents for specific jobs: Chat answers visitors from your pages and captures contacts, Sales qualifies visitors and books meetings, and Agent-Ready makes the site easier for AI assistants to read.

Pricing
Voiceflow
Voiceflow's FAQ says plainly that it "doesn't publish list prices". Its model is "a monthly plan fee plus credit-based usage, on Free, Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans", with optional add-ons, and it warns that "Prices on third-party sites may not match current plans" (Voiceflow AI info). The pricing page itself shows two tracks without amounts: agencies and partners get a free trial with no credit card and "transparent, usage-based billing"; businesses are asked to book a demo and request pricing (Voiceflow pricing).
For history only: when Voiceflow moved to credits in April 2025, it published Pro from $60 a month for 10,000 credits and Business from $150 a month for 30,000 credits, with extra editor seats at $50 a month and a 10% annual discount (Voiceflow, April 2025). Voiceflow no longer lists these figures, so treat them as background, not a quote.
ASDK
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually | Answers per month | Sites |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 50 | 1 |
| Starter | $39/month | $31/month | 1,000 | 1 |
| Pro | $129/month | $103/month | 5,000 | 3 |
| Business | $349/month | $279/month | 20,000 | 10 |
| Agency | from $499/month | from $399/month | 50,000 | 25 |
Extra answers cost $10 per 1,000. The 14-day trial includes the Business plan's agents with 500 answers and needs no card; afterwards the account moves to the Free plan unless you choose a paid one. See pricing.
Comparing the two
You can't compare list prices, because only ASDK publishes them. The bigger difference is what you pay for: Voiceflow is a platform and a team process for building agents across channels, priced through usage and a sales conversation for most businesses; ASDK is a monthly subscription for finished website agents that you can start the same day.
Setup and upkeep
Voiceflow: you build the agent. The home page describes playbooks and an agent studio for shaping behavior, workflows and custom code, transcripts and analytics, and for developers a CLI, agent logs, tests and simulations. Plan for a project with owners: someone designs conversations, someone connects systems, someone reviews results. In return you control every step and can test changes before they reach customers.
ASDK: you add one script to your site, ASDK indexes your pages up to your plan's page limit, and you switch agents on in the dashboard. Answers link to the pages they came from, so a wrong answer points straight at the page to fix. From Pro, the "What visitors ask" insights report groups visitors' questions, which shows where your content has gaps.
Choose Voiceflow if…
- You need agents on the phone or SMS, with call transfer, as well as web chat.
- You have a CX team, conversation designers or engineers who want to design and test every flow.
- Your agents must take actions in your systems through APIs, custom code or MCP tools.
- You want to choose or switch AI models, with fallback during outages.
- You need staging environments, SSO or private cloud hosting.
- You want a product that is generally available today.
Choose ASDK if…
- You want a published price and a free plan before talking to anyone.
- Your website is where buyers arrive, and you want answers and lead qualificationLead qualification is deciding whether a potential buyer fits your offer and is ready to talk, so sales time goes to the leads most likely to become customers. from one knowledge base. ASDK's Sales agent is in early access.
- You don't have a team to design agents, and the website is the channel that matters most.
- You want answers that cite your own pages on every plan, so visitors can check them.
- You care how ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and other agents read your site.
How to decide
Start with channels and people. If most conversations happen on the phone or in messaging apps, or you have a team ready to own an agent program, Voiceflow fits that work. If most buyers start on your website and you need it working without a project, try ASDK on your own pages first.
Whichever you test, use the same 20 real questions from your inbox, point both at the same content, and score each answer as correct, correct with a source, wrong, or "I don't know". An honest "I don't know" is better than a confident wrong answer.
Try the Chat agent in early access
Answers visitors from your own content, 24/7, and captures contacts.
