The full comparison
On this page
Drift was a conversational marketing product: a chat widget with bots that qualified website visitors, booked meetings and sent leads to the CRM. Salesloft acquired it in February 2024 (PYMNTS). It is now being retired, so this page is less a head-to-head than a guide for teams who have to replace it: what is changing, what Salesloft recommends, and where ASDK fits.
What is happening to Drift
On March 5, 2026, Clari + Salesloft announced "the gradual sunset of its Drift conversational marketing solution" and an exclusive agreement to "refer existing Drift clients to 1mind as the successor" (Salesloft newsroom). Drift.com now redirects to Salesloft's chat agents page, which says "We've transitioned from Drift to 1mind" (Salesloft).
Salesloft's Drift Sunset FAQ, last modified September 22, 2026, sets out the dates (Drift Sunset FAQ):
| Date | What happens |
|---|---|
| Until your contract ends or January 31, 2027 | Drift keeps working with the same service level |
| January 31, 2027 | Drift is retired. The chat widget, Drift Email and custom Drift API integrations stop working |
| Through April 30, 2027 | Data is stored offline; you can still request an export |
| May 1, 2027 | Remaining Drift data is permanently deleted |
If your contract ends before January 31, 2027, Salesloft honors the rest of it with no billing changes; if it runs past that date, your account team will discuss options. Salesloft explains the decision as a focus on its "unified Predictive Revenue System" and a market shift "from static, script-based bots to multimodal AI".
What your Drift setup does today
Before choosing a replacement, list what Drift does for you. Its help center documents these building blocks:
- Chat playbooks: bot flows built from message, question and skill nodes, with A/B testing and, on higher plans, Fastlane playbooks that connect form submissions to chat or meetings (Chat Playbook Guide).
- Meetings: Google and Office 365 calendar connections, meeting types and distribution settings across a team (Email and Meetings guide).
- Salesforce sync: creating and updating leads and contacts, and sending chat activity and booked meetings to Salesforce, on Premium and above (Salesforce guide).
- Email: Drift Email, which Salesloft suggests replacing with allGood.
Write down each playbook's qualifying questions, routing rules, meeting types and CRM fields. That list is your requirements document.

The successor Salesloft recommends: 1mind
1mind describes itself as "an AI sales agent platform that gives B2B revenue teams photorealistic AI Superhumans". Its agents work on website inbound, join live sales calls, guide users inside products and support customer success, all from one shared knowledge base (1mind). It publishes no prices; you talk to its team or book a demo. For teams staying in the Salesloft ecosystem, it is the path Salesloft itself has chosen.
Pricing
Drift no longer has a public pricing page: drift.com redirects to Salesloft's chat agents page, which lists none. Existing contracts run as described above. 1mind does not publish prices.
ASDK's Sales agent is included from the Pro plan:
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually | Answers per month | Sales agent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 50 | No |
| Starter | $39/month | $31/month | 1,000 | No |
| Pro | $129/month | $103/month | 5,000 | Yes (early access) |
| Business | $349/month | $279/month | 20,000 | Yes |
| Agency | from $499/month | from $399/month | 50,000 | Yes |
Extra answers cost $10 per 1,000. The 14-day trial includes Business-plan agents, including Sales, with 500 answers and no card. See pricing.
Moving from Drift to ASDK
Export what you need
Ask your Salesloft account manager or support for a data export well before your access ends. Keep transcripts: they are the best list of real visitor questions you have.
Rebuild qualification, not every playbook
Turn your playbooks' qualifying questions and thresholds into the Sales agent's questions. Drop branches that no longer route anywhere. Visitors should get an answer to their own question before being qualified; see lead qualificationLead qualification is deciding whether a potential buyer fits your offer and is ready to talk, so sales time goes to the leads most likely to become customers..
Connect calendars and CRM
Connect Cal.com, Calendly or Google Calendar. Native HubSpot and Pipedrive connections are coming soon; until they are approved, send leads to your CRM with webhooks through Zapier or Make. If Salesforce is your CRM, check whether webhooks, Zapier or Make can carry the data your team needs, because ASDK lists no native Salesforce sync.
Swap the scripts
Salesloft's FAQ asks you to remove the Drift script from your website. Do it in the same release that adds the ASDK script, so visitors never see two chat buttons.
Choose 1mind if…
- You want the successor Salesloft recommends, with its signals feeding Salesloft's platform.
- You want a visible AI agent that also joins live sales calls and guides users in your product.
- You are a B2B revenue team that is comfortable buying through a demo and a sales conversation.
Choose ASDK if…
- You want a replacement you can try today, with published prices and no sales process.
- You book meetings in Cal.com, Calendly or Google Calendar, and webhooks through Zapier or Make can reach your CRM while native HubSpot and Pipedrive sync is coming soon.
- You want visitors' questions answered from your own pages, with citations, before anyone qualifies them.
- You care how ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and other agents read your site.
Other options include the products in our comparisons with Qualified, Intercom Fin and Warmly.
How to decide
Work back from January 31, 2027. Leave at least a month to run the replacement before the Drift widget stops. Take 20 real questions from your Drift transcripts, run them through each candidate on the same pages, and judge by meetings booked and pipeline created, not by chats started.
Try the Sales agent in early access
Qualifies visitors, books meetings and sends leads to your CRM through webhooks and Zapier.

Can ASDK replace Drift?
